Summer Associate Program
Our commitment to your career begins early. We have a talented and dedicated team of people to support you, including assignment coordinators and associate and partner mentors. The Summer Program also includes opportunities for summer associates to learn about Weil's work and experience our culture firsthand by being assigned to client matters across the firm.
Summers participate in active matters and attend client meetings, negotiations, depositions and court hearings to gain a clear view of what it is like to practice law at Weil to help them clarify their choice of future practice area. Weil’s commitment to striking a balance between engaging social activities and substantive professional experience is a key reason we received high marks on two separate summer associate satisfaction surveys in 2024. Weil achieved a top-five ranking in Law360’s annual survey for the second straight year, and The American Lawyer ranked the Firm 11th.
We offer training programs and workshops in taking depositions, legal writing and negotiation, as well as a Speakers Series featuring talks with prominent clients, alumni and firm leaders.
