Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Diversity in the Day to Day
Weil’s Diversity Committee launched the “Diversity in the Day to Day” campaign in 2022 to encourage everyone at the Firm to be intentional in their daily habits and interactions on their teams. The campaign focuses on how simple actions applied consistently and purposefully contribute to a more inclusive and equitable workplace. A mandatory diversity training program was designed to identify ways to embed diversity into individual and team actions. Technology tools were also developed to support respectful interactions, such as a name pronunciation resource and downloadable holiday calendar.
To amplify this campaign, “Show Your Work” was launched in 2023 to encourage attorneys and business professionals to share their individual and team-based inclusive habits. In January 2024, the Show Your Work Summit highlighted these practices to inspire everyone at the Firm to incorporate inclusive and equitable practices into their everyday.
In 2024, Weil achieved Mansfield Certification from Diversity Lab for the third consecutive year, a key industry accreditation that reflects the Firm’s progress in fostering diversity and inclusion among its leadership ranks.
